Klettke, Melvin J (95) passed away September 7, 2024. He was born February 20, 1929 in Odessa, WA to John Klettke and Emma Eichelberg. He attended Ritzville schools and went to work on the farm with his father. Mel joined the Army and served in the European theatre from 1951-1953. Following his Army enlistment, Mel returned home and returned to living his life on the farm. He never married or had children. His beloved past time was riding his motorcycle. He spent 80 years riding motorcycles. He told stories of days past when he had a pan head Harley Davidson. His last motorcycle was a Harley, he loved them. Visitation will be Tuesday September 17, 2024 from 2PM -5PM at Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville. Graveside services and Burial will be at Lind Cemetery on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at 12:00.
