Obituary of Darla Breazeale

Darla Klein Breazeale, a longtime resident of Ritzville, Washington, passed away in her sleep on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Darla was born on March 1, 1957, in Everett, Washington to parents Donald and Gloria Klein. She grew up on a farm in Arlington, Washington alongside her siblings, brother Donald Klein and sister Donita Woodard. Darla married Dan Breazeale in January of 1974; they moved to Ritzville in 1975 where they had their sons, David and Dusty. Darla had an amazing smile that lit up her face; when she was a baby, she won a prettiest baby competition out of 2,000 entries. She loved growing up on her family farm, raising her boys, driving her red T-top Camaro with the tops off and wind in her hair, and being a grandmother. Darla worked many years at Jake’s Texaco and took pride in her work at the Ritzville Post Office. Darla is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gloria, and her husband Dan. She is survived by her children David (Kassandrah), Dusty and Daniel, Jr.; her grandchildren Ky (Brandon), Johnny, Rylan, and Gannon; and her great grandchild Tate. Darla, our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and friend will forever be missed.
