Obituary of Tyler Curtis Greenwalt

Tyler Curtis Greenwalt’s life came to an end April 9th, 2024 after four years of a courageous battle with cancer. Tyler was born August 4th, 1983 in Pullman, Washington. He grew up on a small farm just outside of Spangle and attended Liberty schools, where he excelled in athletics and was an active 4H and FFA member. His accomplishments included 1A all-state player in basketball his senior year, and an American Farmer Degree among others. He graduated Liberty High School in 2002, and went on to play one year of basketball at Columbia Basin College in Pasco. Afterwards he studied agribusiness at Washington State University, graduating from that program in 2007. After college Tyler worked for several agriculture and seed companies in the Tri-Cities, Dayton (Washington), in the State of Illinois, and most recently Farmer Bean in Quincy. In addition, Tyler co-founded Ole World Oils LLC, and the Camelina Gold brand in 2011 with his father and brother.
Tyler married Linze Purcell on August 4th, 2014. He was an amazing husband to his wife of ten years, Linze, and an amazing father to his three daughters, Addison, Olivia and Everly. He is also survived by his father and stepmother Curt and Cindy Greenwalt; father in-law Ed Purcell; mother-in-law Terresa Purcell; his brother Travis; sisters in-law Melissa Sudol and Kristen Messier; brother in-laws John Purcell and Scott Pederson, along with their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. Tyler is preceded in death, and was greeted in heaven, by his daughter Olivia and mother Lynn.
