Obituary of Kenneth Kultgen

Kenneth Dwaine Kultgen, 62, entered into rest May 15, 2011 in Yakima, WA. He was born August18, 1949 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to Donald and Katherine (VonWald) Kultgen Kenn graduated from high school in Chester, MT. On May 8, 1968 he was drafted into the United States Army and served to June 12, 1972. at which time he received an Honorable Discharge. During his years of employment he worked at Felton Oil Producing 1972 -1984, K&K Trucking Business, oil field heavy hall truck driving, 1981-1988, Government Northern Security Co. June 1988-December 2002 and Phoenix Distribution Service December 2002 to present. Kenn enjoyed football, basketball, horse racing and going to the casino. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grand kids who were very special to him. He loved to spoil his grand kids and then send them home for mom and dad to deal with. He said he was getting back at his kids for being such a hand full. He is survived by his fiancé Terri Kohler, sons, Todd Kultgen and Reid Foley; daughters, Tina Kultgen, Krystal Kultgen, Lisa Harrison; sister, Bonnie Kultgen-Aubury, Yakima WA, brothers, James Kultgen, Shellby, MT, Jerry Kultgen, Clifford Kultgen, David Kultgen, Donald Robert Kultgen and Brian Kultgen all of Othello and 9 grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Katherine Kultgen, and brothers Dwaine Kultgen, Gary Kultgen and Larry Kultgen all of Othello. Friday, May 20, 2011a final viewing and visitation will begin at 4:00p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00p.m. at the Sacred heart Catholic Church, Othello WA. Military Honors will conclude the service. Kenneth's family asked Danekas Funeral Home and Crematory, Othello to care for the arrangements.
