Obituary of Frank A Rogan

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frank Rogan went to be with his Lord, Sunday…. Frank A. Rogan born on November 9th, 1938 in Skakovci, Yugoslavia passed away on January 22, 2023. He is survived by two sisters in Slovenia and Germany. Frank was recruited by the US Army at the age of 18. He was a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. After leaving the Army, Frank traveled cross country doing a variety of work. He often reminisced as working as a sous-chef in large southwestern hotels/restaurants where he cooked for a number of celebrities including Sammy Davis, Jr., President Reagan, Festus from Gunsmoke and many others. Eventually settling in Ritzville, Frank cooked at Jakes Café and retired from CF Industries at the age of 80 with 20 years of service. Frank loved his dog Lucky and their daily routine included a trip to the doggy park or fairgrounds, Conoco to buy his “winning” lottery tickets, and the grocery stores. Frank was very dedicated to his faith and the Lutheran Church. He was a true, born-again believer in Jesus Christ, and was faithful to Him to the end. His morning ritual was reading his Bible, devotions, and praying. Frank enjoyed conversation with friends or strangers alike. After moving to Adams House, Frank enjoyed cooking his favorite recipes for dinner with friends. Frank will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Adams County Pet Rescue, 1961 W Bench Rd., Othello, WA 99344.
