Mary Elaine (Hille) Reilly of Ritzville, Wash. passed peacefully on September 2, 2022. Mary was born to parents Daniel (known as Boyd) and Elaine (Lofgren) Hille of Ritzville, Wash. on November 14, 1950. She was the eldest of four. Mary graduated from Ritzville High School in 1969 and attended Gonzaga University. Mary met Garry Reilly in 1987 and they married June 17, 1988 creating a blended family with six kids. Mary was known as a devoted mother and loving wife. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and was celebrated for her beautiful singing voice. She was an avid Ritzville Broncos fan described as "a little crazy" when games got tight. She will be remembered by her grandchildren as a fun, playful and loving grandma who always had toys ready in her living room. Mary also had a deep love for stray animals (especially dogs) who joined the family over the years.
Mary is survived by her husband Garry Reilly, her sons Daniel (Abby) Carlson of Puyallup, Matthew (Maggie) Carlson of Ritzville, Andrew (Chauna) Carlson of Ritzville, and stepdaughters Shannon (Robin) Kraus of North Bend, Michelle (Matthew) Phillips of Lake Stevens, and stepson Ryan Reilly of Ritzville. Mary is survived by seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren: Bergen, Kajsa, Leif, Brady, Kelcee, Maycee, Hagen Carlson and Lucas Kraus, Rhys & Carys Phillips, Brooke & Autumn Reilly. While preceded in death by her parents, Mary is survived by her three siblings Nancy Hille, Scott Hille and Mitch (Penny) Hille.
Public viewing will be held on September 14, 2022 from 3-5pm at the Danekas Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11am, September 15th at the Ritzville LDS Church followed by a luncheon at the Washington Wheat Foundation.
