Obituary of Catherine Elizabeth Janosky
~~Catherine E (Hoffman) Janosky, 101 years, passed away June 17, 2017 at Bonaventure East Wenatchee, where she had lived for the past two years. She was born April 5, 1916 to Tony and Minnie Hoffman at Ringold. Catherine had previously been a lifelong resident of Connell, WA. She married Sylvester Janosky August 31, 1934 in Connell, where they made their home. They had eight children: Marlene, Frank, Gweneth, Richard, Eunice, Carol, Garry and Wayne. She had two brothers and five sisters. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Sylvester, daughter Marlene Harman Stockman, infant daughter Eunice, sons: Frank, Garry and infant son Richard; sons in law: Ronald Harman and Stan Stockman, brother: William, sisters: Teresa, Beulah, May and Marion. She is survived by her son Wayne (Lori) of Spokane, daughters: Gweneth (Robert) Clarke of La Pine, OR, Carol (Paul) Schmidt of Mansfield, daughters in law: Regina of Connell, Julene of Kennewick, her brother: Larry Hoffman of Connell, sister: Bernice Russell of Moses Lake, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family was the most important thing to Catherine her entire life. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday July 3, 2017 at Mt View Cemetery in Connell, WA with a reception to follow at St Vincent Catholic Church in Connell.
