She was a wonderful Grandma, always helping out at a moments notice. The family home was continually filled with friends and family. Ava loved dancing to her father’s (Bus) lively saxophone music and friend’s piano playing. Ava always greeted everyone with a smile, even when she later moved to Walla Walla. She resided in Parkview at Wheatland Village near her daughter Linda and family. She received excellent care at Parkview. Ava was preceded in death by her husband Lenard in 1996 and her son Gary in 2012. She is survived by Linda Borth (Doug), Patrice Schilling, Bonnie Grams (Dale) and Janice Tilton Wahl.
