Obituary of William Brischle

William Robert Brischle ( Bill) Othello, WA William "Bill" Robert Brischle, 61, of Othello, passed away July 5th at his family home. Bill, the eldest of 5 children, was born July 8th, 1949 to Ralph and Clara (Aldrich) Brischle, in Spokane, Wa. At the age of 2 ½ years he moved, with his family, to Moses Lake where his father farmed. Then in 1955 he and his family moved to Othello. Bill grew up working on the family farm and graduated from Othello High School in 1967. He attended CWU for a year then joined the Navy and became a Navy Corpsman. After his service, Bill came back to the family farm to work with his father for several years. In 1975 Bill met Susan Davidson/Jacobson who became the love of his life; they married June 18th 1976. Between his years of farming Bill worked at several different jobs. He would say that one of the most enjoyable was working for Schwanns, meeting and serving numerous people on his routes. Bill came back to Othello to help his father, eventually taking over the family farm. He continued farming until his illness forced him to quit this year. Bill is survived by his wife, Susan (Sue); his children: Samantha Rae Busse (Tim), Spokane and Jennifer Renee Fisher (John), Spokane; his step-children: Deanna Sue Reece (John), Wasilla, AK, and Jason James Jacobson, Pasco; his siblings: Rusty (Debbie), Colorado Springs, Co; Carolyn Parker, Enumclaw; Earl (Kathy), Auburn and Jon (Cheryl), Moses Lake; his half-sisters: Kim and Michelle; his step-brothers: Sanford Demmer (Cheri) and Jim Demmer; his numerous loved nephews and nieces, and his five cherished grandchildren: McKinley, Jenna, William, Claire, and Zoe. Bill is preceded in death by his father: Ralph Brischle; his mother: Clara Demmer; step-father: Lytt Demmer, and step-brother: Gary Demmer. He was a member of the Othello Nazarene Church. Accepting Christ as his Savior was the most important decision in his life. The family would like to thank all those who helped in numerous ways: visits, food, song, and especially prayers. Memorial Service will be held at the Othello Nazarene Church, Sunday July 10th, at 5:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Bill's family asked Danekas Funeral Home to care for the arrangements.
